Michael Rizzone, DDS

Originally from the town of Clarence, a suburb of Buffalo, and similar in size to Corning.  Dr. Mike went to undergraduate school at the University of Buffalo and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biological Sciences.  He then went south for dental school and attended the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (home of the Tarheels). Following graduation Dr. Mike did a one year residency program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville NC.  After working in North Carolina for two years Dr. Mike wanted to return north, closer to his family and moved back to upstate New York.  He first worked in the Adirondacks near Glens Falls, then in the Fingerlakes area, at both the City of Geneva and Town of Bath.  After meeting with Dr. John Sementilli and finding that they had similar treatment styles, they mutually agreed to transition the office to Dr. Mike in 2018.  When not helping his patients Dr. Mike likes to play and watch basketball, follow the Buffalo Bills, and go for runs.

Nancy, RDH

We are excited to welcome back Nancy! In the past, Nancy worked at our office a dental assistant for Dr. John Sementilli and then went back and got her dental hygiene licenses. Nancy has been working as a dental hygienist for over 15 years. Nancy has a great sense of humor and will often times have her patients laughing as she cleans their teeth. Her daughter is playing rugby and hockey and her son is planning on attending medical school.

Maci, Dental Assistant

Maci is originally from the northern Pennsylvania area. A recent graduate of the BOCES dental assisting program, Maci has shown great interest in the dental field and is preparing herself to attend hygiene school in the future. Maci has a personality that’s warmer than a freshly brewed cup of coffee and connects wit patients like they’re old pals. Maci loves to hang with her dog, chow down with family and friends, and watch dental videos on social media, because who doesn’t love a good root canal tutorial?

Erin, Office Manager

Erin hails from Corning, NY, and before she became our superhero front office manager in 2021, she spent over 20 years as a dental assistant. Her passion for dentistry is so strong that she got promoted from assistant to front office manager, and and with that combined clinical and administrative background, she can answer all the questions our patients come up with. When she’s not saving the world one dental question at a time, Erin enjoys hunting, equine sports, and hanging out with her fur babies.

Becca, RDH

Becca, a SUNY Broome alumnus, has been practicing since 2005 and has maintained strong ties to the community, exemplified by her enthusiasm for the Buffalo Bills. Beyond her professional pursuits, Becca prioritized quality time with her three children, who frequently engage in diverse activities, spanning from hockey to equine interest.

Shayna, RDH

Shayna, a SUNY Broome alumnus, has been practicing since 2023 and recently joined the local community. Her passion for her work is evident in her meticulous approach and dedication to educating patients on optimal oral health practices. Shayna’s compassionate and lively personality ensures a pleasant experience, leaving patients feeling uplifted. Beyond her professional pursuits, Shayna cultivates her extensive plant collection, cherishes moments with her dog Bear, and soon to be little one August 2026.

Chelsea, Dental Assistant

Chelsea originates from Addison, NY, has been a dental assistant since 2021. Chelsea is dedicated to helping others and shows remarkable compassionate, always willing to lend a listening ear and provide emotional support to those in need. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her son, and values the importance of family bonding. In her free time, she loves riding side by side, exploring new trails, and going camping, which allows her to connect with nature and unwind.

Sam and Josh, Administrative

Sam joined our office in 2022. She is part of the ARC of Steuben program and lights up our office whenever she comes in! Sam’s personality always helps brighten our mood and it is a pleasure to work with her.

Josh joined our office in 2024. He is also a part of the ARC of Steuben program. He is often very quiet when he comes into the office but enjoys to laugh. He often plays video games in his free time, his favorite being Harry Potter.
